Users review: Never mind stereotypical characters. Never mind the logic does not exist. Never mind that the dialogue is inane and idiotic touch. This is good action! And theres no point in denying it.First of all I love to see destruction. Preferably larger scale. You fed a huge amount here. Second: I love alien stars the size of New York. And you are sure to receive. And third, I love dogfight. You get it. Continued: I dont take seriously.This is one of the best films of the decade, not only because it works so well in an all-around, but it took a few kicks that no other film at that time (1996). Giant alien spaceships come and blow a lot of the big cities. That's all I need.How to go with that logic takes back seat - spare me please. There are worse movies than this one.
