Users review: I was lucky enough to catch pans Labyrinth last night, as part of Fright Fest program in London and was completely blown away. Guillermo Del Toro was on hand to introduce both the film and answer questions afterwards. He spoke enthusiastically about the film, and it was easy to see why. Guillermo Del Toro has created something very special - part war movie, part fantasy, that everyone should see. The film has a great performance as Captain Vidal, and Sergi Lopez as the central character Ofelia Ivana Baquero offers new performance of a veteran. If you are the type who are put off by movies with subtitles, do not be. This is a very visual movie that does not rely on dialogue too. It does not open until November 24 in the UK and December 29 in the U.S., but I was eager to see it again (and buy the DVD special edition). This is the first time I've felt compelled to comment on this post. Do yourself a favor and go see it on the big screen.
